How To Get To Fukuoka Airport From City
Next, we would like to guide you on step-by-step on how to access to Fukuoka Airport from the city. This is particularly helpful especially for those who take the flight with an early morning departure. We were very worried about whether able to catch the morning flight. But we found out there were a lot of passengers who were taking the same route as us at morning. Check it out.
Our flight is early morning flight at about 8 a.m. To access to Fukuoka Airport at early morning, travelers can choose to get there by taxi or subway. Trains operate on Fukuoka’s subway system from 5:30 am to 12:25 am. So, we decided to get to the airport by subway as it was the cheapest option.
From the hotel, we walked to the nearby subway station before 6 a.m. So it is important to choose your accommodation nearby the subway station.
Once out from the subway station, there are well-marked signs and instructions to guide you on how to get to Fukuoka airport that hardly can miss. Next, take the escalator from the subway station to the ground floor to board the shuttle bus service.
Many travelers took the early flight back to the home country. The line was very long but everyone was following the queue. Line clear pretty fast with bus interval between 5 to 10 minutes. Due to the large crowd, the whole journey took us about 40 minutes from the city to Fukuoka Airport including the shuttle bus transfer.
