Vienna Accommodation Tips
Vienna is an incredible city with 23 districts (Bezirk) in total. The districts spiral out from the city center, with logically numbered from 1st District right up to the 23rd. The smaller the number of the district, the closer it is to the city center. So, Innere Stadt (District 01) is the city center, which hosted the Vienna’s Old Town.
Generally, the accommodation in District 01 will be the most expensive address in the city, with prices decreasing the further out you go.
Vienna is well-connected with train/tram/metro with efficient public transport systems across the city. What’s more, the U-Bahn runs 24 hours per day during the weekend! Many Viennese do not own a car as the public transport is really good.
